GMA Network has released a statement to express their support for actress Bea Alonzo.
They also thanked Bea’s fans for their undying support; adding that the network does not tolerate the attacks that she is receiving.
Bea’s manager Shirley Kuan has broken her silence to defend the actress on the relentless Instagram posts of entertainment reporter Lolit Solis, which the latter claims is because they were prevented from covering Bea’s presscon.

In an interview with PEP, Shirley explained that it was her who decided not to invite Lolit and her friends Salve Asis and Gorgy Rula in one of Bea’s press conferences.
The decision, she said, stemmed from Lolit’s continuous negative posts against Bea.
“I’m already saying it now, that nag-umpisa lahat ng tira niya noon pa. Nung pumasok si Bea sa GMA—hindi during that presscon because she was not invited,” she said.
Shirley said she did this as part of her duties as Bea’s manager. “Number one, it’s really my job as her manager to protect her,” she said. “No manager would throw his or her artists to the wolves in a presscon, you know. No manager worth her salt, by the way. You wouldn’t do that.”
